Momentum Informs UK Security Industry Specialists About R&D Tax Credits
As the leading R&D tax credit specialist company we were invited to inform innovative companies in the north west of England about R&D tax credits on 10th November.
Our Managing Director and Founder, Tom Verner, and R&D Technical Analyst, David Gilmour, presented information on the benefits of R&D tax credits and how companies can claim to National Security Specialists representing more than 70 of the most innovative companies in the UK.
During his presentation, Tom highlighted how the R&D tax incentive is the most generous and most under-claimed form of corporation tax relief in the UK and that it’s designed to encourage firms to invest in the development of innovative products, processes and services, and in so doing, making the UK more competitive in the global marketplace.
Tom dispelled the myth that they are only open to ‘white coat industries’ and instead told the engaged audience that they are available to companies in all sectors, including those in the security and fire protection industries.
We have been working hard to raise awareness of R&D tax credits amongst companies in every sector. Recent rises in R&D tax credit claims in Northern Ireland are likely, as a result of our success in preparing R&D claims on behalf of our clients.
Momentum is successfully working with leading accountants, banks and financial institutions and many others across the UK to raise the profile of this generous tax relief.
We are calling on all businesses and their accountants to take action to explore this valuable incentive.
