Momentum shortlisted success for upcoming Bangor Business Awards

Bangor Business Awards

The Momentum Group has been shortlisted for three awards at the Bangor Business Awards 2019.

Now in its 19th year, the prestigious awards are firmly established as an intrinsic part of the Bangor business calendar, providing a real incentive for local businesses to be recognised for their commitment to growth, investment, customer service, best practice and high standards.

Momentum is delighted to announce it has been shortlisted in three categories:

  • Best Company to Work For
  • Customer Service – Professional Business Services
  • Business Development

Tom Verner, Group Managing Director, said:

“As a thriving business and leader in our field, our talented team takes great pride in being able to help companies transform through the maximisation of R&D Tax Credits. I am delighted that the hard work of the team is being recognised by way of these nominations.

“We are looking forward to the awards ceremony and wish all other nominees the best of luck,” he said.

Momentum was named ‘Best Company to Work for’ at last year’s award ceremony. This year’s awards are being held at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel on Friday 11 October with an anticipated 300 local business people in attendance.

Tom recognises that his team is the firm’s biggest asset and he has been steadfast in his desire to ensure Momentum is a place where team members are valued and enjoy their work.

“As an employer, it is essential that we maintain a healthy in-house culture from which everyone benefits. Through a mix of professional development initiatives and a work-life balance, we are able to develop and maintain a positive working environment,” he said.

With a 100% client success rate, Tom says the future is bright for the company:

“We genuinely care about our clients’ business growth. By using all of our experience, expertise and insight on how to achieve the optimal R&D tax benefit for our clients, they are then able to further reinvest back into their business for future growth, investment, R&D and performance mechanisms,” he said.

Entering its 10th year of business, Momentum has become a strategic and trusted partner to organisations across all manner of sectors. To date, the firm has helped to identify over £135m in R&D tax relief across more than 1,000 claims. It now works in partnership with a range of industry bodies including ADS Group (Aerospace, Defence, Security & Space), Composites UK, Manufacturing NI and Mineral Products Association Northern Ireland.
