This morning, at my local business networking group (BNI Waterfront), I received the following 'Millionaire Giver' badge:
I was awarded this badge in recognition for creating opportunities between the people within my network which has generated over £1 million in invoiced business. From a personal standpoint, it's rewarding to see what simply referring business by word of mouth has brought into my business network. But, from a professional standpoint, it reminds me how important it is to share success and connect good people to one another. "These are business that I like and trust!"
This year has been a landmark for The Momentum Group in terms of growth and service base. We've won awards, launched our Corporate Strategy division and expanded our team. Our success continues to be tangibly that of our staff, clients and business partners. Still, all of our business has come from recommendation.
Referral and word-of-mouth is definitely the best way to get business, both giving and receiving. After all, " no man or woman (or company, in this case) is an island!"
